At Penn Medicine, radiologists and IT specialists have developed an artificial intelligence solution, PennAInsights, that automates the workflow from image capture through AI analysis to diagnostic reporting. That team has tackled head on the twin problems of rapidly growing procedure volumes in radiology and a smaller pace of growth in the number of radiologists. Penn Medicine leaders Walter Witschey and Kyle Mongeau will share what’s been learned so far on the journey.

Rajiv Leventhal, a Senior Analyst at EMARKETER, will sit down with Mark Hagland to share what he’s been reporting on in his research around the disruptor organizations coming into healthcare and how existing “bricks-and-mortar” health system leaders need to respond to the new entrants, and will discuss how artificial intelligence is evolving forward from the standpoint of technology development and diffusion.
