Healthcare Innovation Innovator Award recipient Bonnie Barti of the Southern Nevada Department of Veterans Affairs will share how her team is using AI-enabled virtual humans and immersive 360-degree simulations to rethink workforce training. The approach gives healthcare staff the opportunity to practice challenging patient interactions and emergency response scenarios on demand, while improving knowledge, confidence and skills and significantly reducing the cost of training compared with traditional in-person education.
