Bonnie Barti is a Healthcare Simulation Technician with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, working in Las Vegas since 2019. She oversees simulation spaces, equipment maintenance, and scenario technology, and holds multiple certifications from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (CHSOS-A, CHSOS, CHMS) and the Naval Postgraduate School. Her work has been recognized in Healthcare Innovation’s 2026 Innovator Awards, where she was part of a team developing a VR and AI-enabled healthcare training platform for the Southern Nevada VA. This initiative aimed to provide immersive, on-the-floor staff education without disrupting patient care, reducing training costs and improving skills.
