Attila Hertelendy, PhD, is a recognized leader in artificial intelligence applications for healthcare delivery and organizational resilience. With over 30 years of healthcare executive experience across four countries, Dr. Hertelendy specializes in leveraging AI and digital health innovations to transform hospital operations, enhance clinical decision-making, and strengthen healthcare system preparedness.

Dr. Hertelendy is the Director of Research and a core faculty member I the Disaster Medicine Fellowship at BIDMC, Department of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Hertelendy is an adjunct Professor at Georgetown University where he teaches Public Health and Disaster Management in the international Executive Master’s in Emergency Management program.

As Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics at Florida International University's College of Business, and Assistant Professor and Senior Fellow of Population Health at the Wertheim College of Medicine, Dr. Hertelendy leads pioneering research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare informatics, and organizational leadership.
