Dr. Patsy McNeil is the Executive Vice President, Second-In-Command and System Chief Medical Officer of Adventist HealthCare, located in the Mid-Atlantic area. She oversees clinical operations for the company and leads systemwide efforts in patient safety, quality and innovation.
A board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. McNeil holds undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She also earned her MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and holds an MBA with highest distinction from University College London. She is residency-trained from the University of Cincinnati which just celebrated its 55th anniversary as the oldest EM residency in the United States. In training, she served as Chief Resident of her residency class.
Dr McNeil is a passionate advocate for women’s leadership in medicine and business while supporting the arts, women’s health and youth empowerment through board service and philanthropy. She lives in the Washington, DC area.
