Stephanie Brown is President & Executive Director of CRISP DC, the District’s designated Health Information Exchange, where she leads efforts to securely integrate clinical, social, and public health data and deliver actionable insights across the region. She oversees digital health tool development, District wide reporting, complex grants and contracts, and compliance with federal and local data sharing standards.

Previously, Stephanie worked at the University of Pennsylvania, where she developed and implemented behavioral economics–based patient engagement interventions, including text message nudges, gamification, and incentive strategies to improve care adherence and outcomes. Her experience also includes roles at Columbia Medical Practice, Healthy Howard, and Cooper University Hospital, spanning public health research, care delivery, and population health. Stephanie holds an MPH and Master of Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
