Michael Levy is a healthcare executive and digital health entrepreneur with more than 20 years of leadership at the intersection of healthcare systems, technology, and social impact.

He is the CEO & Co-Founder of the Digital Health Institute for Transformation (DHIT), an internationally recognized non-profit that has cultivated a community of more than 10,000 innovators, launched global health innovation hubs, and pioneered community-driven innovation programs. In addition, Michael is Co-Founder of Bluedoor Group, a digital health growth agency recognized among the Top 50 Healthcare Companies worldwide, where he advises startups and health systems on go-to-market strategy. He also serves as a Venture Partner with SpringTide Ventures, supporting early-stage digital health companies.

Previously, Michael was the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of North Carolina’s Center for Health Innovation, where he designed UNC’s Digital Health Program and launched the nationally-recognized Digital Health Innovation Sprint. Earlier in his career, he held senior administrative leadership roles at the University of Miami Health System, UNC Health Care, and UCLA Health, where he directed operations, engineered multimillion-dollar financial turnarounds, and spearheaded organizational transformation.

Michael frequently serves as a professor, speaker, and mentor on digital transformation, teaching at the University of North Carolina Graduate School and advising healthcare leaders worldwide. His work has been featured in legislative initiatives, industry publications, and innovation summits across North America and beyond.
