George Gooch is a Senior Executive Healthcare Advisor at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he focuses on AI, machine learning, and health data strategy.

Before joining AWS, George served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Texas Health Services Authority, which operates the state-level health information exchange in Texas, as well as the state’s privacy and security certification program known as SECURETexas.

In his spare time, George serves on the board of directors of the Central Texas Chapter of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and explores Austin with this wife and six-year-old daughter.
