James Klaas, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Klaas specializes in cerebrovascular disease, and has been the Medical Director of Mayo’s Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center since 2015. He has also served in various departmental and institutional leadership roles, and is currently the Outpatient Practice Operations Chair for the Department of Neurology, the Co-Vice Chair of the Clinical Space Subcommittee, and the physician lead for Outpatient Transformation.
