Dr. Keith Andrews has a background in molecular biology, having conducted research at Lawrence Berkeley Lab for four years. He then pursued his medical education at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Andrews completed his residency and served as Chief Resident at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California. He worked as a hospitalist for approximately three years before transitioning to outpatient care. He dedicated about ten years to caring for the uninsured at the Sacramento County Clinic before the Affordable Care Act was implemented.

Following this, he spent nine years as a primary care physician (PCP) at Dignity Health.

He is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Vivant Health, contributing to strategic planning and focusing on improving care for the Medi-Cal population through initiatives like quality assurance and chronic disease management. He previously served as Medical Director at Vivant Health.

Dr. Andrews has also contributed through volunteer work, providing medical and dental services in Vietnam with Vietnam Village Health.

In his personal time, Dr. Andrews is an avid cyclist who participates in 100k events and enjoys scuba diving, particularly exploring World War II shipwrecks in the Pacific.
