George H. Terrazas currently serves as Regional Vice President of Market Development for Equality Health, a private equity backed value-based care company focused on advancement of health equity in primary care. In this role, he is responsible for market development and growth in the Texas and Louisiana markets.
Prior to Equality Health, George held various roles including past President of Texas Care Alliance, a value-based care joint venture comprised of 12 leading health care systems representing over 90 hospitals across the state of Texas.
Prior to working with Texas Care Alliance, George served as a Senior Associate at Nexus Health Capital, a boutique healthcare investment bank with offices in New
York, NY and Dallas, TX. Prior to this role, George was selected as the Boone Powell, Sr. Fellow in Healthcare Administration at Baylor Scott & White Health. Upon completion of the program, he served as a corporate management consultant at Baylor Scott & White Health, managing various strategic business initiatives across the enterprise.
George earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University. He is also involved in the local Dallas/Fort Worth community, where he previously served as President of the Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professionals, a dynamic group of 350+ emerging leaders. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Baylor University Healthcare MBA Advisory Council, and the Dallas Texas Exes organizations.
