Dr. Brett Moran serves as Chief Health Officer at Parkland Health, where he leads clinical strategic development, digital health initiatives, research, innovation, clinician resiliency programs, and value-based care. His work centers on advancing healthcare technology and public health for vulnerable populations, earning him recognition as the 8th recipient of the Epic physician Academy Council's Physician of the Year Award, selected by informatics peers nationwide.

Under his leadership, Parkland has received multiple HIMSS Davies Awards, including the first Public Health Davies Award in over a decade, and the 2024 Eisenberg Award for Patient Safety and Quality. As a recognized thought leader in healthcare technology and AI implementation, Dr. Moran co-chairs the Texas eHealth Advisory Council, served as an independent reviewer for Duke's Coalition for Health AI framework, participated in the Health AI Maturity Model Collaborative, and co-facilitates the Institute for Healthcare improvement's AI Accelerator while actively contributing to Epic's Health Policy and AI workgroup.
