Dr. Mary Awuonda is an Associate Professor and Director of the Center of Excellence at the Howard University College of Pharmacy. In her directorship role she helps the College advance its healthcare workforce diversification mission. She is also the Director of the Howard University Telepharmacy and Population Health (HU-TEPH) Center. Through the Center, she serves as a Co-PI on the $8 million dollar, ONC funded Public Health Informatics and Technology cooperative agreement (PHIT4DC which will develop a diverse PHIT workforce for Washington DC and other underserved areas.
