J.T. Lane serves as Senior Vice President for Population Health and Innovation of ASTHO, the national organization representing the public health leaders and agencies of the 50 U.S. states, 8 U.S. island jurisdictions, and DC. He leads a portfolio of public and private sector efforts focused on population health policy; rural health and primary care access; health system, Medicaid, and health plan engagement; public health data modernization; health data and technology policy; and health system research and business intelligence. He has more than 20 years of state, national, and global private and public sector population health, health care, and social sector experience, including 8 years of progressive leadership roles in Louisiana’s cabinet agency on health, including the state’s chief public health official.
